Mat 28:19-20
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.
At FBC we believe it is our commission to make disciples. Those who respond by accepting Christ as their Lord and Savior must be instructed in the faith. We believe that the disciples we produce should become mature believers who are involved in ministry, focused on edification, doctrinally sound, honest, loving, interdependent and willing and able to evangelize the lost within their sphere of influence. (Eph. 4:11-16) The functions required to achieve this end are baptism, local church affiliation, the teaching and preaching of the Word of God, fellowship, worship and a regular prayer life. It is our mission to share the love of Christ with all of those around us in need of a Savior, introduce them to Jesus Christ, teach them to know him intimately, live in His likeness and serve him bodly.
